Store Policies

At myPins.com, we want you to have an enjoyable experience when ordering or trading from our Pin Store. Recognizing that you may have specific questions about our services, we have provided an overview of our ordering, trading, payment, and shipping and return policies.

How To Place An Order

All orders should be processed through our Pin Store. In the event that your web browser cannot complete the order form transactions, we ask that you send us a separate email with the purchase and contact information. We will respond to your requests via the email address you provide.

You are encouraged to ask questions about the pin(s) you are interested in purchasing or trading for. At your request, we can provide additional information that is not provided in the Pin Store item descriptions, such as dimensions, surface type and back stamp variations.

When we receive your order, you will be sent an automatic email confirmation providing the order details, contact information and payment amount and method. The confirmation email will also contain information on how to use PayPal or where to send personal or bank/cashier checks. All customers are requested to review the confirmation email for correctness, which will help to ensure a smooth order transaction and delivery of your pins. In the even an error is found, please email us directly so that we may make the necessary corrections.

Proposing a Trade

Unlike other online pin sellers, all of our pins listed in the Pin Store are for trade! We are looking for pins to complete our collection, and we will entertain all trade proposals via email. In the event a trade is agreed upon, we request that all pins are shipped simultaneously.

Payment Options

myPins.com accepts the following methods for payment: PayPal, personal checks, bank and cashier checks. At this time, we do not have the capability of directly accepting credit card orders, and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers. However, payment using major credit cards can be processed through PayPal.

Orders will be shipped upon receipt of PayPal or bank check payments. Personal checks must clear before you order can be sent.

Shipping Methods and Costs

Our normal shipping method within the United States is First Class mail through the U.S. Postal Service. Additional services, such as priority or overnight shipping, are available, at an additional cost to our customers. At your request, we will also ship using your preferred carrier (additional costs are the customerÕs responsibility). Receipt confirmation, insurance and other services may also be requested at the time of ordering. myPins.com ships to international locations, and shipping costs will be determined based on the final destination. An email confirming your final shipping costs will be sent following receipt of your order. We reserve the right to refuse shipping to certain international destinations.

All pins are packaged in a manner that will protect the front and back finish as well as the pin post and clasp. We wrap each pin in bubble wrap, and all wrapped pins are shipped in a bubble envelope or cardboard box with additional packing material. We will never ship your pins in an unprotected envelope, and request our customers who are sending us pins to follow the same packing procedures as described above.

We will send you an email on the day that your pins have been shipped, and request that our customers reply to us (via email) when the pins have arrived at their final destination.

We strive to ship your order as soon as payment has been received. In the event of an unanticipated delay in the shipment of your items, we will contact you promptly to provide the details of the status of your order.

Returns

Your satisfaction is our first priority. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your order, please send us an email with a detailed description of your concerns, and we will do everything we can to resolve any and all disputes as quickly as possible. In the event that we have sent you an incorrect item, or the item is damaged upon receipt, we will refund the cost of First Class shipping, as well as the purchase price (if a suitable replacement cannot be provided), when the item is returned to myPins.com.
